Welcome to our website

OEC teaches Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to high school students.  OEC stands for Opportunities in Emergency Care.

Anyone EMT can teach an EMR or EMT class. OEC is about inviting students to do healthcare along side our staff, volunteers, and instructors. It is introducing them to other students with similar medical interests. It is about challenging and encouraging them to be what they hope to be.

Our team

Our team includes a mix of instructors, assistant staff, and volunteers.  Our instructors and staff have the most contact with the students, but the volunteers make the class interesting and are essential in testing our student’s skill through skill practice, check-offs, and scenarios.
